Mustn't forget that it's not hypoxia that you notice, its high carbon dioxide levels. It's quite possible the blood oxygen levels are fine*.

Of course exposing the nose defeats the object of wearing the face covering.

Which is why I pull the bloody thing down and out of the way if I'm wearing one. Having it up over my nose makes me feel woozy and like I can't breathe.

I've now got a placard on a lanyard that I wear when I'm out. It says I'm exempt from wearing a face covering. My wife's got one too, and they've been invaluable for us both. Two of our children had Covid, along with the husband of one of them, so we've both been exposed to the virus, but neither of us has had any ill effects. In my case I think it's because I already have an auto-immune disease, so my immune system is already primed and on full alert for any infection, beit bacterial or viral. As for the missus, well, I don't think the virus would dare to have a go at her. It would get a right ear bashing if it did! Peggy Mount's got nothing on her when it comes to intimidation! :)

You're right of course, must have been a slip of the fingers on the keyboard. Heaven Forfend that I should say such things and actually mean them!!
